Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for PCU in Hilo, Hawaii. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift within a travel employment package.

The role requires one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications enhance candidacy. Comprehensive benefits and support are available through Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN is required.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and aids physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
