Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Brevard, NC. The RN will provide specialized care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team.

The role features 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, competitive pay and benefits with travel-focused support to help you succeed on assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health and care plans.
• Document assessments and nursing history for telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
