Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The PCU unit supports 29 beds with a heavy cardiac patient population and telemetry; travel RNs will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks with block scheduling opportunities.

Requirements include 1 year of PCU experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and the ability to float per policy.

Qualifications

• 1 year recent PCU hospital experience
• Cardiac/telemetry experience
• PCU/CCU and/or critical care exposure
• ACLS and BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the PCU for cardiac and surgical patients
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications and titrate as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff
• Adhere to unit policies and scheduling requirements including self-scheduling and block scheduling
