Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Active RN license, BLS, and at least 18 months of recent PCU/Step-down experience are required. The assignment runs 13 weeks, at 48 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts. Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs using the nursing process and evaluates care.
• Collects and analyzes patient data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Documents plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and family education.
• Revises the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
