Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Travel RN for a PCU/Telemetry role in Melbourne, FL. The position requires 1 year of PCU/telemetry nursing, FL or compact RN licensure, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts. Epic EMR proficiency and weekend coverage may be required; vaccinations are mandated with exemptions considered.

Qualifications

• Active Florida or compact RN license required.
• At least 1 year of PCU or telemetry nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• First-time travel nurses not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting.
• Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio.
• Day shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 to 19:00.
• Occasional weekends required (~6 weekend shifts per 6-week period).
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Floating to other units or locations within the same health system.
• Flu vaccination required (exemptions allowed).
