American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Atlanta, GA, requiring a GA or compact license and BLS certification.

The 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with night shifts. Travel benefits include housing stipends, medical/dental/vision, and per diem options. First-time travelers are welcome, and start date is available promptly for scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Permanent address must match driver’s license and RN license information.
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before applying as a traveler.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Operating Room of a hospital setting.
• Covers a range of cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology.
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week.
• Schedule is 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.
• 13-week assignment.
• No on-call requirements.
• Must be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures such as robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gynecology.
• Must work one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) during the assignment.
• Time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after an offer is made.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Scrub attire requirements may apply in the OR environment.
