Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an outpatient surgery center requiring recent OR specialty experience and expertise across multiple surgical service lines.

Details

• Outpatient surgery center setting
• Handles a wide range of surgical cases including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn
• Heavy case volume in GYN, plastics, and prostate biopsy procedures
• Monday through Friday schedule, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required

Additional Information

• Must be able to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break since separation
