Job summary

Flagstar Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Nuclear Medicine for a travel assignment in Avon, Indiana. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform advanced imaging studies, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and maintain safety standards in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements include ARRT(N) or CNMT, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years in nuclear medicine. Travel benefits, weekly pay, and licensure reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine imaging experience.
• Certification as an NM Tech (ARRT(N) or CNMT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• State licensure as mandated.
• PET certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per dosages and safety protocols.
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies including planar, SPECT, PET/CT.
• Operate gamma cameras, PET/CT scanners, and dose calibrators with QC.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure radiation safety.
• Coordinate timing with referring clinicians for accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures and equipment performance for QA.
