Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes age/population standards as designated.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; AACN/ACEN/NLN-CNEA recognition is preferred.
• RN license current in the state of practice (multistate licensure acceptable).
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care, perform patient education, triage and various nursing interventions.
