Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Skilled Nursing Facility night shift. Requires KS or Compact RN license and recent specialty experience. Missouri license also required due to floating needs. BLS certification, 1 year minimum experience; 2 years preferred. Epic charting experience is expected.

The role involves floating between departments and facilities, with 3x12 hour nights and patient ratios around 1:30. Housing allowances and travel reimbursements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active KS or compact RN license required in hand at submission; Missouri license also required due to floating needs.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience; 2 years of recent specialty experience preferred; no employment gaps >90 days in past year.

Responsibilities

• Nursing care in a Skilled Nursing Facility unit within a Long-Term Care Facility (30 beds).
• Night shift 3x12 hours (18:30-07:00).
• Manage 1:30 patient ratios and related care on unit.
• Provide care to patients with diabetes, dementia, CHF, COPD, CKD, and other conditions.
