Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a Neuro/Medical Surgical unit assignment in Texas. This auto-offer position means you may receive an offer without an interview, with scheduling arranged directly with the manager.

Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekends included. You must hold a Texas license (or compact), have at least 2 years of RN experience with recent work in neuro/med-surg, and possess BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; Meditech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• TX or compact nursing license required.
• 2 years of RN experience with 12 months in last 12 months in relevant units.
• 3 months of Meditech experience preferred.
• Night shift with travel assignment; must live >50 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for neuro medical/surgical patients and telemetry monitoring.
• Perform stroke assessments and wound care as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
