Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg in Johnstown, PA. This 13-week contract requires RN licensure in PA, Neuro Med Surg experience, and night shifts.

You will assess patients, administer meds, coordinate care, and document in EHR while collaborating with the healthcare team. Travel with housing allowance and stipends may apply.

Start date 10/12/2026, 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights; healthcare benefits available.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro Med Surg nursing experience.
• Preferred NIH Stroke Scale and Swallow Screen certifications.
• Competence in dysrhythmia; orientation will include assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
