Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz - Aurora is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in ICU/PCU settings using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.

The role emphasizes multidisciplinary teamwork, patient wellness, and safety, with day and night rotations, a 72-hour biweekly schedule, and a travel package/stipend to support staff mobility.

Qualifications

• CO RN license or eNLC privileges.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in ICU/PCU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice.
• Precept new staff and support ongoing education.
• Maintain patient safety and quality at the point of care.

Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Day and Night Rotation or Nights

Pay: $50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

13 week assignments available

Minimum Requirements

• CO RN license or eNLC privileges
• 1-year experience
• ACLS
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
