Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking an RN for MedSurg/Telemetry in Milwaukee for a 13-week assignment. Night shifts are 12 hours, with a 1900–0730 schedule and every-other weekend. The unit is a Level III Trauma Center with 933 beds, offering 24/7 RT support and telemetry monitoring.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and the ability to manage drips and complex patient care in a fast-paced environment. Parking is free, and orientation is provided.

Qualifications

• Ostomy care and IV skills required.
• Most patients are ambulatory; fast-paced admissions/discharges.
• Drip management with heparin, insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone.
• Experience in observation unit preferred.
• R/O chest pain, post cath lab, CHF, AFib, etc. with rapid turnover.

Responsibilities

• Support on the unit with charge nurse oversight.
• Phlebotomy assistance for peripheral draws.
• Telemetry monitoring support with in-house RT.
• EPIC charting and Pyxis medication workflow.
