Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing assignment in Petersburg, Virginia.

This Med-Surg/Telemetry RN position runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. Active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, and 18 months of recent Acute Care Med/Surg experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Med-Surg patients before and after surgery.
• Perform treatments and administer medications.
• Monitor changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Document medications and treatments meticulously to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and treatment team members.
