MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN specialized in Med Surg/Telemetry for a Springfield, MA assignment. The nurse will work 12-hour days on a 36-hour week schedule, providing care for adult patients before and after procedures and for those on medical therapies.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS; 18 months of acute Med/Surg experience is preferred. Travel housing and benefits are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• 18 months of recent experience in Acute Care Med/Surg
• Other client facility requirements

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medications.
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care
