Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Rock Island, IL. The role requires 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, with a 13-week assignment starting 01/12/2026, and IL/IA licensure plus travel experience.

Responsibilities include Med/Surg/PCU care, Epic EMR usage, and potential charge/preceptor duties within an interdisciplinary team. Weekly pay, tax‑free stipends, and travel/licensure reimbursements are included.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required
• Active IA license or IA license by application
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• PCU or cardiac experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Med Surg/Telemetry and PCU patient care
• 12-hour shifts starting 6:45 AM; every other weekend
• Floating to multiple facilities within same discipline
• No on-call requirements; potential charge nurse/preceptor duties
• Team-based patient care within interdisciplinary unit
• Holiday coverage including 2 of 3 major holidays
• Orientation includes 16 hours
• Returning workers must not have worked for the client in past 12 months
