Job summary

Cross Country Nurses in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in a hospital setting. This 13-week assignment requires 48 hours per week on 12-hour nights, starting 10/26/2026, with every-other weekend.

You will care for adults with post-surgical recovery, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and cancer, using EPIC and Alaris IV pumps. Requirements include a valid BLS, a minimum of 2 years in medical-surgical or telemetry, active RN license, and COVID-19 vaccination

Qualifications

• Valid BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years in medical-surgical or telemetry.
• Active RN license with Nebraska endorsement or eligible.
• COVID-19 vaccination status required.
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 48 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult patient care in MS Telemetry units.
• Utilize EPIC EHR and Alaris IV pumps.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety.
• Document care accurately in the charting system.
