Job summary
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This 13-week role features 36 hours per week on night shifts (12-hour, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
Candidates must hold a valid RN license and BLS; ACLS preferred. Requires 2+ years of Med/Surg with telemetry, plus experience with IVs, chest tubes, and rhythm interpretation. Orientation includes training and EKG competency; Epic EMR used.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
- ACLS preferred; 2+ years Med/Surg with telemetry experience.
- Experience with trach care, chest tubes and IV maintenance.
- Strong assessment skills and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care on a busy Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor cardiac rhythms.
- Manage multiple patient needs during 12-hour night shifts.
