ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg Telemetry for a travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The role is a 13-week contract delivering 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with required weekend and holiday availability.

The Medical Surgical Telemetry unit seeks an experienced RN to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical telemetry and general surgical cases.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to start.
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patient condition, responding to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform unit-specific procedures including starting IVs and performing EKGs.
• Coordinate patient transports and assist in rapid response and code situations.
