Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Maryville, TN. The role supports an inpatient unit focused on stroke and high-acuity patients with a 13-week assignment and 36 hours weekly, 3x12-hour nights. The position requires TN RN licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and prior charge experience.

Responsibilities include comprehensive adult care, Omnicell medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality care, including during floats.

Qualifications

• Current TN RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including EPIC charting.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous charge experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform medication administration utilizing the Omnicell system.
• Monitor and manage diagnoses including stroke, seizures, chest pain and respiratory failure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and experience.
• Maintain patient safety and care standards during floating assignments as required.
