Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Lee's Summit, MO. The RN will provide specialized care to adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital, with telemetry monitoring and complex post-procedure care.

This travel assignment requires BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, CPI, and a minimum of 2 years' experience, including MS/Telemetry and Neuro Stepdown. Night shifts, 12-hour runs, and 36 hours per week are expected.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, CPI.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including community hospital settings.
• Experience with MS/Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown and related specialties.
• Active license with pending licensing accepted.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-cardiac angiogram, post-MI and pre/post cardiac cath care.
• Care for neurological conditions such as CVA and other acute needs.
• Telemetry monitoring and complex patient care in a community hospital.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac drips; IV therapy incl. PICC/central lines.
