Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Concord, NH. The nurse will provide high-quality care in med-surg and telemetry units, monitor cardiac telemetry data, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

You will work nights on a 12-hour schedule, 36 hours per week, with travel benefits, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, and a supportive clinical team to assist you during the assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Valid RN license in NH per state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Manage multiple patients based on acuity and needs.
• Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with patients and families.
