Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts in a travel capacity.

The Medical Surgical Telemetry RN will provide care within the float pool, performing in different med-surg areas as needed and maintaining proficiency in telemetry, medications, and essential procedures while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency is necessary.
• Active RN license verified through Nursys.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring to assess patients’ health status.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
