Job summary

Malone Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a position in Newburgh, Indiana. This role requires managing complex Med/Surg/Telemetry patients and holding a valid compact license. The contract spans 13 weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

• Must have a current active compact license.
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum two years of strong Tele/Med/Surg experience with one travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Med/Surg/Tele patients post cardiac caths.
• Assist with charge nurse duties as preferred.
• Complete patient assessments and manage IV drips.

Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation

NIHSS/dysphagia screen

Initiate/titrate drips
