Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Med/Surg Telemetry in Lima, Ohio. The assignment runs 13 weeks starting 01/05/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts and alternating weekends/holidays.

Active OH or compact RN license is required, with at least 2 years of RN experience and BLS/ACLS certifications. Strong communication skills are essential for success on this unit.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Dysrhythmia/EKG exam required at start (two attempts permitted).
• Not open to local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 28-bed Med Surg Telemetry Ortho unit in a hospital.
• Care for orthopedic and post-op patients including Drips management.
• Assist with surgical drains and post-op orthopedic movements.
• Monitor patients and use equipment like Alaris pumps.
• Collaborate with unit clerk and charge RNs for patient care.
