Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Med Surg/Tele RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Winchester, VA. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour days. Start date is 10/12/2026, and relocation and benefits are provided.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Med Surg/Tele RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. NIHSS/ACLs certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and families; ensure understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist during treatments.
• Monitor patients and manage care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain safe, clean patient environments and adhere to infection control.
• Discharge planning and coordination with patients and families.
