Job summary

VyTalent Solutions seeks a Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 12-week assignment in Austin, TX. The role requires BLS and hospital experience, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift. Contract length is 13 weeks, traveler status. Start ASAP.

Responsibilities include patient care on a medical-surgical unit with telemetry, and collaboration with staff to support a 32-bed unit. Benefits and referral opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 during day shifts and 6:1 at night.
• Utilize telemetry, bladder scanner, vital sign machine, and lifts to meet patient care needs.
• Follow unit policies and dress code, including navy blue scrubs with St. David’s logo.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless operation within a new, 32-bed unit.
• Support unit efficiency with open communication and a owner mentality.
