Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment in Seneca, SC. The role covers Med Surg and telemetry with 36 hours weekly on nights.

You will provide patient-centered care, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Requirements include 1 year Med Surg/Tele RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS; NIHSS and ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and families, addressing questions and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document changes for the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and assist physicians during treatments.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients recovering from illness or surgery.
• Document vital signs, medications, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record.
