Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Travel RN for Med Surg/Telemetry in Lafayette, LA for a 13-week assignment starting 10/05/2026. You’ll work 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.

The role requires 1 year Med Surg/Tele RN experience, active RN license in Louisiana, and current BLS. NIHSS and ACLS are preferred; benefits include day-one coverage, competitive pay, and access to a dedicated support team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Valid RN license in Louisiana.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients recovering from medical conditions or surgical procedures.
