Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.

Position covers Med/Surg Oncology with telemetry and night shift requirements. 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, with potential unit and location flexibility within the Med/Surg/Tele service line. Epic EMR experience preferred and CNAs available on the unit.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• Oncology nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemo certification through ONS preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for oncology and med/surg patients with telemetry monitoring.
• Administer titratable drips and respiratory therapies as needed.
• Float within Med/Surg/Tele service line and to regional hospitals as required by union guidelines.
• Support unit with CNAs and manage patient care during 12-hour night shifts.
