Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Oncology Travel RN for a 7P-7A assignment in Missouri. Requires MO or compact RN licensure, 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology experience, and BLS. Oncology certification is required for oncology cases. The unit is on a 36-bed Med-Surg/Oncology floor with patient ratios around 1:6.

Position features nights, 4x12-hour shifts, 13-week length, 36-bed unit, and no on-call requirements. Housing and travel stipends are part of the pay package.

Qualifications

• Active MO or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemotherapy/ONC certification required for Oncology RNs.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Oncology experience.
• Experience with wound vac changes, drain care, IV/PICC line care, Foley insertion/removal, and NG tube insertion/removal.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Med-Surg/Oncology nursing duties including wound care, line management, and monitoring of hemodynamically stable cardiac patients.
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, and patient-centered approach preferred.
