Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN in Ishpeming, Michigan for a 13-week Med Surg assignment. You'll work 36 hours per week in a 12-hour night shift, traveling with housing or subsidy options.

As a Travel RN, you’ll provide bedside care, administer meds, monitor patient status, and collaborate with care teams. You must have at least 1 year in acute care and an active nursing license; allied certs as required for the position.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for the position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfers and discharges.
• Provide patient/family education appropriate to age and culture.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
