Qualifications

• Active registered nurse license in California (RN).
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrated ability to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Eligibility for a 13-week travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care for patients on the medical/surgical unit.
• Assess patients’ physiological and psychosocial needs; monitor vital signs and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with attention to age-related considerations for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Develop, implement, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team; document outcomes and progress.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support safe, quality care.
