Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg (Intermediate Care Unit) assignment in Colorado. A CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience are required.

Shift options include 3x12 hour days or nights, totaling 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment. Epic charting is used, with potential to float and or be on-call as needed. This travel role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in CO or compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/NIHSS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience.
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment.
• 3x12hr shifts, Days (0700-1930) or Nights (1900-0730).
• 36 hours per week.
• Rotating weekends required.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need.
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide patient education, health counseling, and therapeutic treatment.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system.
• Returning staff must be separated from any facility within the health system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
