Cross Country Nurses seeks a Medical Surgical Float RN for a travel assignment in Fargo, ND. The role covers 12‑hour shifts on a 36‑hour weekly minimum, with every other weekend and holiday coverage in a fast‑paced facility.

The position requires active ND or Compact RN licensure, BLS, NIHSS, and Epic EMR experience. Float pool or trauma center exposure is a plus as is familiarity with Accudose Rx, Alaris pumps, and Philips vitals machines.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year recent Medical‑Surgical experience in a large hospital.
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Float pool experience or trauma center exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and medication administration.
• Document care plans and progress notes.
• Provide wound/line/drain care and bedside procedures.
• Float across Med/Surg units and campuses as needed.
• Call in daily to determine unit assignment and coverage.
