Job summary

Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The RN will float between adult Med/Surg units, provide assessments, care planning, and implement care for a diverse patient population in an acute setting, with 12-hour nights and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The position requires Indiana RN licensure (or compact state), BLS certification, and at least 1.5 years of relevant hospital experience in facilities with 450+ beds.

Qualifications

• Indiana state or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1.5 years of Level 1, 2, or tertiary experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to adult medical units as needed and participate in Epic charting.
• Provide nursing assessments, care planning, and implementation for a diverse patient population.
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and medication management.
