American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med/Surg for a travel nursing job in Mauston, Wisconsin. The position includes a combined Med/Surg and EICU night shift, 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts and a requirement for ACLS and BLS.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

Responsabilités

• Work in a hospital setting on a combined Med/Surg and EICU unit
• Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 1830 to 0700
• Every third weekend required
• Possible on-call shifts based on patient census
• Uses computerized documentation systems and EMR
• Provide quality nursing care to Med/Surg and EICU patients, including assessments, planning, and evaluations
• Respond to life-threatening situations in accordance with established protocols
• Perform and assist with medical procedures as needed
• Initiate and document patient care plans and educate patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain infection control and Universal Precautions
