Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit with 2+ years in cellular therapy/oncology. You’ll rotate nights 4x12, handle autologous/allogeneic transplants, CAR‑T, and IV chemo prior to cellular therapy, and support critical care needs.

Must hold IN RN license, BLS/ACLS, chemotherapy cert, NIHSS; OCN preferred. Prior travel experience and Epic EMR proficiency are required; assignment is 13 weeks in Indianapolis with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN state or compact) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• OCN certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Prior stem cell, oncology, and critical care experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required for this unit.
• Experience with bone marrow transplant procedures, CAR‑T, and graft‑versus‑host disease management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cellular therapy and chemotherapy treatments.
• Coordinate care and provide patient/family education and psychosocial support.
• Manage oncologic emergencies and recognise/communicate abnormal lab values.
• Provide wound care, isolation precautions, and neutropenic precautions as needed.
• Be aware that first‑time travelers will not be considered for this position; returning travelers are welcome.
• Assist with CAM/biotherapy and complex oncology care within scope of experience.
