ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. The RN will care for post-operative patients on the Medical Surgical Unit, including drains and wound care, under high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with post-operative patients preferred.
• Competence in dressing changes, wound care and drain management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for post-operative patients.
• Maintain and monitor surgical drains.
• Administer wound care as required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients and support their needs effectively.
