Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Montana. The role involves performing independent nursing functions, health assessments, and developing treatment plans in accordance with state standards.

The RN may float between departments and be on-call during scheduled shifts. Requirements include valid RN license, ASN or equivalent, and BLS, with 1 year of nursing experience; BSN and ACLS/NRP/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN required; RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: BSN.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications where appropriate for specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform health assessments and develop/monitor treatment plans.
• Deliver nursing care per standards and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Float to other departments within scope; may be placed on-call during shifts.
• Document care and teaching per regulatory requirements.
