American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ambulatory clinic on Nantucket, requiring an active MA RN license and BLS certification. The role supports patient-centered care and collaborates with the healthcare team to oversee daily operations.

The position is 40 hours weekly on a day shift, with possible evenings. Shared housing is provided at no cost, and candidates must reside within 60 miles of Mass General Boston for local consideration.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• License and certification must undergo primary source verification within 30 days of start (NURSYS and BON required)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory clinic setting supporting medical providers in delivering patient and family centered care
• Works side by side with providers, leadership, and the healthcare team to oversee daily patient care operations
• 40 hours per week on day shift, with some evenings possible
• Serves a year-round island population of 15,000+, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors
• Uses Epic for charting
• Support delivery of quality, patient and family centered ambulatory care
• Shared housing provided at no cost
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to be considered local
• RTO must be identified at time of consideration
