Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in Maternal-Newborn to work a 17-week assignment in Fort Worth, TX. You will cover 12-hour night shifts, supporting new mothers and their babies in a busy postpartum unit.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS/NRP certificates, plus 18 months of acute care Mother/Baby experience. Benefits and credentialing support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Cares for moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Monitor mothers post-delivery and support recovery while watching for postpartum depression.
• Educate new parents on care, breastfeeding, and newborn health.
