Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for an 8-week assignment in Waterville, Maine. The position offers 40 hours per week, nights, and a travel employment type.

The RN will provide skilled care in a LTC facility, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while meeting regulatory standards. Beneficial certifications like ACLS may be preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor changes, and take action to ensure well-being.
• Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans with residents and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe residents for medication reactions or condition changes and report to provider.
• Provide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other procedures.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating as needed to ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on medications and managing chronic conditions.
• Document care, resident progress, and health changes in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care.
