Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care assignment in New Salem, North Dakota. The 13-week travel contract features evenings (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM), 8-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend requirement, with potential for multiple travelers.

Ideal candidates have LTC experience, are comfortable working independently, and are familiar with North Dakota healthcare practices and regulations. Active RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing assistants and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Educate residents and family members regarding treatment plans and ongoing care needs.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
