Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a long-term care facility in Delano, CA. This 13-week travel assignment provides 36 hours per week across 3x12-hour shifts, with a start date of 11/02/2026.

You will deliver direct nursing care, use the nursing process, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality resident outcomes. Applicants must hold an active California RN license and BLS, with at least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in LTC.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced LTC environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor for adverse effects.
• Assess patient status, document findings, and communicate changes.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists and teams to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and continuity of care.
