Job summary

TotalMed RN in Charleston, WV is seeking an experienced travel RN for a 13-week LTAC assignment. You will provide care for patients with complex needs, supervise CNAs/LPNs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on discharge planning.

Requirements include at least 1 year LTAC or high-acuity experience, BLS certification, state licensure eligibility, and the ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of LTAC or high-acuity RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Eligible for State licensure; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct nursing care and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer meds, manage ventilator care and critical care tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and support discharge planning.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality patient care.
• Document care activities in real time and adhere to infection control standards.
