Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Elgin, IL. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in a LTC facility, with 40 hours per week, the nights shift, and 8-hour shifts.

Requirements include one year of LTC RN experience, Illinois RN license, and BLS/CPR. Benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support of our clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and adjust care as needed.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with team.
• Administer medications and therapies safely.
• Monitor for changes and report to physician.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; educate residents and families.
• Document care and resident progress timely.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines.
