HealthForce Healthcare in Polson, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse for an LDRP travel assignment. Duty shifts are 3x12-hour Nights in a small Critical Access hospital OB unit (22 beds). Start date 11/16/2026, with weekly pay estimate shown below.

Includes orientation and travel support; weekends and 3 of 5 major holidays required. Responsibilities include triage, newborn care, C-section circulation, fetal monitoring, and cross-facility coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at submission.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Travel experience required; posting notes 3 years; OB/L&D experience at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Manage Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care for obstetric patients.
• Triage obstetrical patients and provide newborn care per unit scope.
• Circulate for C-sections and perform sterile vaginal exams as needed.
• Monitor fetal status with wireless fetal monitoring; respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Apply knowledge of PPH management and postpartum assessments.
• Document in Epic; coordinate with PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.
• Float to OB coverage across unit needs and, if required, to nearby sister facilities.
