Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tulsa, OK. The role requires obstetric nursing expertise, active RN licensure, and certifications in BLS and NRP.

Start date is 10/26/2026, with pay per week and full travel benefits. You'll support obstetric care, monitor fetal status, assist in deliveries, provide postpartum care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across shifts.

Qualifications

One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP Certification

Responsibilities

Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and newborn stabilization.
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members to deliver cohesive care.
Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
Document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes.
